London Olympics

The Mouse Family have had a really busy few days.  They watched the Olympic opening ceremony on Friday and cheered loudly when their team went by.  Mona and |Monty had seen parts at the rehearsal on Monday and they thought the whole thing was incredible.  They loved the fairy tale section and all the monsters.  Mona was very jealous of all the children bouncing on their beds.  She tried out some of the stunts on her bed at home.

The next day every one went to see the road cycle race.  It was very exciting as the riders came by very fast.  Monty waved and cheered all the riders.

Tomorrow everyone is off to see the basketball

Olympic rehearsal

The Mouse Family really loved the opening ceremony rehearsal.  They can't tell you what went on until after the real thing on Friday.  There were some animals taking part but Mona Mouse was diappointed that there were not any mice.  Monty  Mouse started to dream that he was running a race.

Off To See The Olympics

Grandma and Grandpa Mouse are off to see a rehearsal for the opening of the Olympics.  Perhaps we should write some new verses about the Mouse Family At A Sports Day.

I must tell you about The Mouse Family adventure last night.  I wrote a tale called

The Mouse Family Hear A Noise In The Night.  Everything seemed to happen in twelves.

I walked as quietly as I could, taking twelve steps at a time.  The floor was starting to make odd creaking noises. I made up a little rhyme to help me remember what happened

Granny Mouse woke up herself,

One times twelve is twelve.

Tiptoed on the creaking floor,

Two times twelve are twenty-four.
